Electrical Engineer

Responsible for programming of Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC based SCADA Systems, as well as, on-site start-up and commissioning and on-going of SCADA systems.

Industries Served- Water and Waste Water Treatment and •Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Testing Facilities

•Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming utilizing RsLogix 5, 500, 5000 and RSView32 and/or FactoryTalk View ME/SE.
•A minimum of ten (10) years with an engineering firm with the focus on Control Systems / SCADA integration projects.
•Will be responsible for SCADA system designs including development of block diagrams, control system network and communications systems, schematics, panel layouts and I&C plan drawings.
•Will be responsible for programming of SCADA system controllers / PLC’s
•Write structured, well-documented PLC Code
•Ability to write in advanced control system programming code
•Responsible for providing on-site start-up and commissioning, as well as, on-going support of SCADA systems
•Willingness to work outside of normal working hours for SCADA start-up and support activities
•Ability to write operations and maintenance manuals based on PLC/HMI code
•Ability to conduct owner operations and maintenance training sessions
•Demonstrated experience working with municipal and industrial clients
•Strong focus on client satisfaction and repeat business, the ability to interface directly with the client
•Excellent reading and writing skills
•Must be independent and resourceful

BS Electrical Engineering or EET needed.  PE a plus but not needed
