Fiber/Wireline/OSP AutoCAD Designer 5 – Remote – Anywhere in the US
This role will be responsible for assisting with the development of construction deliverables for Fiber/OSP wireline projects. Functions in a lead engineering technician capacity. Under general direction, modify or create deliverables and may perform assignments of a design nature by applying basic engineering principles and established design practices to develop moderately complex design concepts. Provide technical guidance and may provide direction to other engineering professionals.
Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering and construction industry.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising/leading a drafting graphics team.
• Experience in Fiber/Wireline/OSP a plus.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D with experience utilizing alignments, COGO points, Point Labels, Line Labels, Feature Lines, Property Sets, Profiles, and Plan Production tools.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS and other GIS based software applications a plus.
