Planning/Scheduling
This position is working onsite with our client partner at the job location. Our client would like a person with experience working on power generation projects (combined cycle preferred, but we would look at single cycle).
Duties:
Lead level position assigned to a lead role in Planning/Scheduling. With minimal supervision, is responsible for independently applying advanced project controls techniques and analyses. The level may handle commercial issues and will provide leadership and guidance to less experienced project control personnel. Able to positively influence internal and external clients to achieve successful results. Achieves a high level of forecasting accuracy. Proactive in addressing project issues. Leads planning and schedule preparation using Primavera P6 on more complex projects including startup planning. Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control. Recognizes critical issues and interfaces. Confers with PM team on project execution matters. Participates in key risk management discussions. Participates in and may lead any potential claims issues. Ensures startup planning is at the appropriate level of detail.
Skills:
- 8+ years’ of Primavera P6 experience using CPM scheduling
- Construction experience
- Strong Earned Value understanding
They are working 5 – 10 hour days, overtime is paid after 40 hours a week. There is per diem available for anyone that lives more than 50 miles from the work site.
