Mechanical Engineer – Pipe Stress Analyst
TITAN has an immediate opening with a client partner working in the Pittsburgh area office 5 days per week. Client partner company has expertise in tank designs, multi-story structures, pipe and conveyor trusses and bridges, vibration analysis, seismic analysis, and foundation designs.
Skills
5-10 years of work experience conducting pipe stress analysis with proficiency using Caesar II software
Key Responsibilities
- 5-10 + years of site investigation experience with some of the site work having been done at coal-fired power plants preferred.
- Degreed engineer, PE preferred but not needed
- Proficient with the use of Caesar II stress analysis software
- Person will be required to do extensive site investigation work (mostly local) on typically high temperature steam piping systems to determine the aspects and problems and then input the piping system into Caesar to analyze the pipe stresses
- Knowledge of pipe supports a plus as well
- Person will receive mileage pay when going to sites
- Intent is to hire this person temp to direct or possibly direct right away
Education
Four-year Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
