Mechanical Engineer, P.E. – HVAC & Plumbing
TITAN has an immediate opening with a client partner working at our client’s location.  Candidate will be required to work in the office for the first 90 days of employment.  Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days.  Our client has offices located anywhere in the U.S.  Qualified candidates will live within 50 miles of our client’s office address.  Contact TITAN to find out if you are located close to an office address.

Qualified candidates must have:

  • P.E. license required
  • Minimum 8 yrs experience
  • Basic knowledge of International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE handbooks/standards
  • Knowledge of ASPE design handbooks
  • Knowledge of SMACNA standards
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards
  • Exposure of Revit 3D modeling
  • Experience with large-scale water-cooled chillers is preferred

Summary:

  • The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions for the company’s global projects.  The Mechanical Engineer level 5 position is responsible for the engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities

    The HVAC Team is engaged in the following:

  • Project Delivery Methods – Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid- Build
  • Facility Types – Water Treatment, Power Generation buildings, and Substations
  • Systems – HVAC and Plumbing
  • Type of Areas – Waste water treatment buildings, Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical

    Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, and Pump Areas

  • Energy Audit/Efficiency – Engineering studies, system performance reviews, and energy compliance calculations
  • Code Review/Application – Facility review for code compliance
  • Sustainable Design/LEED – Application of sustainable strategies

Education

P.E. License Required & bachelor’s degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
