Civil 3D Drafter/Junior Designer
TITAN has an immediate opening for a client partner working at our client’s office location in Overland Park, KS. The person must work in the client’s office 5 days/week. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the office location.
Overview
- Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices in support of creating or modifying deliverables
- This role will be responsible for the development of plan & profile deliverables using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation
supporting client needs related to underground transmission line projects
- Basic Civil 3D experience is required with knowledge of alignments, plan/profile, and sections
- Supports engineering teams under general supervision
- Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
- Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
- Begins providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians
Education & Skills
- Diploma or Certificate required
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering design-related technology preferred
- Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation experience required
- Development of plan and profile deliverables using Autodesk Civil 3D required
- Basic Civil 3D experience with knowledge of alignments, plan/profile, and sections required
- Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience
