Overview

Will collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects in the solar and wind sectors, while contributing to the development of critical civil infrastructure that addresses both current and future challenges. Civil Engineering Technicians support the planning, design, and implementation of site development activities, including grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities for large-scale utility projects.

The delivery of high-quality engineering deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects, working alongside a collaborative and experienced team of professionals. Under close supervision, this role performs technical civil engineering design tasks with an emphasis on the preparation and modification of site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts. Work is performed using advanced, industry-standard design tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D, PVcase and PVFarm.

• Supports engineering teams under general supervision
• Performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
• Creates, updates, and maintains technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience
• Experience with Civil 3D grading
• Proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D

Preferred Qualifications
